PBS Passport is an online streaming service exclusively for PBS donors. To help promote the service, PBS reached out and asked us to design a broadcast and social graphics package for affiliate stations and internal teams to use. The toolkit not only streamlined the brand’s promotional graphics and elements, it also gave us an opportunity to refine the PBS Passport look and feel. By borrowing geometry from the Passport logo, I was able to flesh out a toolkit that felt unified and true to the Passport brand. This was also an exercise in minimalism, letting the show footage be the hero whenever possible. Below is a promo we delivered using several of the broadcast toolkit elements. Pieces of the social toolkit are displayed below as well.
